English - week commencing 1st June

Over the past couple of months, we have all spent much more time than usual in our homes. Your challenge this week is to write a description and draw a picture if you would like to of your dream home. Money is not a problem in this challenge, you can build it however and wherever you dream of.

Think about:

• Where is the house? What country? In a city? In a forest? On a mountain?
• What rooms are in the house?
• What is the garden like?
• How is the house decorated?
• Does the house have any special features? An underground section? A pool?

Remember to use features of descriptive writing (adjectives, WOW words, adverbs, similes, metaphors)
